貨運代理人：該詞匯來源于英文Freight Forwarder與Forwarding agent兩個詞組。

　　Freight forwarder:The term comes from the English Freight Forwarder and Forwarding agent two phrases.

　　FIATA定義：根據客戶的指示，并為客戶的利益而攬取貨物運輸的人，其本身不是承運人。

　　《中華人民共和國國際貨物運輸代理業(yè)管理規(guī)定》第二條規(guī)定：國際貨物運輸代理業(yè)，是指接受進出口貨物收貨人、發(fā)貨人的委托，以委托人的名義或者以自己的名義，為委托人辦理國際貨物運輸及相關業(yè)務并收取服務報酬的行業(yè)。

　　幫助委托人進行運輸活動的組織，具體內容有：涉及運輸路線，選擇運輸方式和承運人，協(xié)調貨主、承運人以及其倉儲保管人、保險人、銀行、港口、機場、車站、堆場經營人、海關（商檢，衛(wèi)檢，動植檢）、進出口管制等相關部門的關系；
